The New 35mm Photographer's Handbook Nov 25, 2002 An excellent book on everything you need to know about 35mm photography. Good text, plenty of example shots, excellent graphics, it's a great all-round manual. Better for beginners / intermediate. Buy it! Cheers, Cotty.

General Photography book, not much else Jan 28, 2000 I think the book's title is a bit misleading in that the handbook really doesn't tell you how to get the most out of your camera. I bought the book hoping to learn something new, but the focus is more about general concepts, such as how to buy a camera, basic shooting techniques, etc. I read the book in a day because I already knew what was in the book -- I gave this three stars because it's a good book for a beginner, but not for intermediate and above users.
